Weekday Walks - walking, hiking London

Let's go with the flow and do this amazing 7 to 8 mile walk in the delightful Hertfordshire countryside in this lovely village including Gobions Open Space and its most beautiful pond.

Things to bring : packed lunch, water, snacks etc and waterproof jacket and walking shoes/boots/trainers.

Group train tickets shall be purchased as from 10.35am.

Train : 11.07am that arrives at Brooksmans Park at 11.32am.

Train ticket: Return to Brooksmans Park

Or you may decide to drive.

Walk starts by 11.35am.

Meetup fee £5 payable in cash or in advance by bank transfer.

You should have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity and be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour.

We shall aim to take the train back at 4.13pm that arrives at 4.38pm.

Please arrive by 10.25am so that we can buy the group train tickets for the 10.53am train that arrives at Sandy 11.35am.

Or you may decide to drive.

You should be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour and have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity.

A most wonderful 10 mile coastal walk firstly along the cliff tops affording great views of the sea then a delightful undercliff walk for the last third until fashionable Brighton.

Please arrive by 9.45am to buy group train tickets for the 10.24am train that arrives at Newhaven Town at 11.39am after changing at Lewes.

Meetup fee : £5 payable in cash or in advance by bank transfer.

Train ticket : return to Newhaven Town

Please bring packed lunch and bring water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket and walking shoes/boots/trainers. Also sunhat, suncream and sunglasses.

We shall have an ice cream along the way and then arrive in Brighton at around 5pm, then perhaps a drink in the Lanes before taking the train back at around 6pm.

You should be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour and have appropriate and adequate insurance for this type of activity.

A truly wonderful 8 to 9 mile walk by the beautiful River Medway and in the fabulous idyllic Kent countryside!

Some time in the afternoon we shall visit Tudeley Church which is the only church in the world that has all its stained glass windows created by the famed artist Marc Chagall.

We shall buy group return train tickets at 10.15am for the train at 10.43am that arrives at Tonbridge at 11.16am.

The walk shall commence by 11.25am.

Train ticket : Return to Paddock Wood.

Or you may decide to drive.

Please bring packed lunch , water, snacks etc, waterproof jacket and walking shoes or trainers plus sunhat, suncream and sunglasses.

You should have adequate insurance for this type of activity and be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour.

We shall have a drink at the end of the walk.

We shall aim to take the train back to London from Paddock Wood at around 4.45pm.
