Adventure Junkie Hiking

Start at 3am - start at garden parking area.24 miles and 9000 ft of gain. You will certainly be using some upper body along the way.

All be put on the waiting list and vetted well in advance . 

You must be prepared for a very long day with proper footwear, proper hydration, and something to eat along the way, FILTER , probably a hat, cause you’re gonna be above the tree line a lot .

If you sign onto this, you must be agreeable to either do this hike on the 27th or 28th or 29th depending on the weather but I’m would like to do it on the 28th if the weather is agreeable .

If you have bad weather all three days there’s nothing I can do to help that. It will be a sad day, but I will not attempt this crazy hike in bad weather . I need strong hikers, can handle difficult terrain, and have good expedition behavior . 

If I do not know you and have not hiked with you before, be prepared to tell me why you think you should be on this hike .

Will only select a handful of people . it is expected that this group will stay reasonably close together. And meet up at the top of each mountain . If you are someone who likes to hike alone or wants to get ahead of the game, this is not the hike for you .

Logistics dictate a water drop 2 days prior . Which will be a substantial hike all by itself.

This is a Friday night hike.

We will be hiking 6 to 7 miles approximately and finishing just before dark.
This will be a fast pace, hike, approximately 3 miles an hour.

We will most likely hike through the Crows Nest and into French Creek State Park do the loop around buzzard, or the loop around Hopewell Lake and then head back to the Crows Nest.

This is mostly flat terrain. There may be one or two slight hills along the route.

Rain cancels.

Meet at main parking lot. Start a 10 mile hike of hills and some flats! Dogs so welcome! Social hour after hike if group wants one!
