## Melbourne’s most iconic rooftop bar makes you feel like you’re on holiday right in the Centre of the city.
## The Carlton Club 193 Bourke Street, Melbourne
With its sweeping views of Melbourne’s skyline and luscious palm trees, it’s the perfect oasis to relax and enjoy a tropical atmosphere whilst mingling, making new friends and listening to some tunes. A secluded hideaway to escape and unwind, The Carlton’s Rooftop is indeed one of the best rooftops in Melbourne and a favourite among locals and visitors alike. Tropical flora juxtaposes the city skyline where everyone will enjoy two hours of drinks special 3.30pm – 5.30pm The Carlton Rooftop is definitely worth climbing the stairs for!
Enter the rooftop and make believe you are on a tropical getaway. A thatched-roof bar surrounded by luscious green plants add to the island-like atmosphere, except there is no beach to be found, only you floating worlds away from the hurried city streets below, a true moment of escapism. Rain; We book two levels, if the weather is not suitable for the rooftop we will move down one level. Still has a fun tropical feel …. this event NEVER CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER.
This weekend, we come together to celebrate and honor the brave individuals who served and made the ultimate sacrifice in wars and peacekeeping missions. Anzac Day, observed on April 25th, holds a special place in the hearts of both Australians and New Zealanders. It commemorates the Anzacs—the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps—who played a pivotal role in the Gallipoli campaign during World War I 1.As part of our commemoration, we will be selling Anzac Badges (cash only) on the day. The proceeds from these badges will go directly towards assisting veterans and their families2. It’s a meaningful way to contribute and show our gratitude.
Additionally, this event will be our “Harmony” event, celebrating the rich cultural and linguistic diversity of Australians. Harmony Day in Australia is a time to promote respect, belonging, and social communication among all Australians, regardless of their cultural or linguistic background. We are united by a set of core Australian values1.
Sticker show Ancestry / Ancestry Wall
Upon arrival, you will receive a sticker to write down the country or countries your ancestors came from. It’s a beautiful way to acknowledge our diverse heritage and a fun conversation starter.
“During the event, we’ll feature an Ancestry Wall where members can jot down their country of origin or add to existing entries. Given our wonderfully diverse membership, it’ll be fascinating to reflect on this collective tapestry at the event’s conclusion.” 🌏📜
Dress – Wear Orange / Cultural
You can also choose to wear something orange to celebrate Harmony Day, as orange symbolizes social communication, meaningful conversations, and mutual respect 1. Or you can wear something from your Cultural Heritage.
