Membership Renewal 2026

Membership Renewal for 2026 is now open for current group members only.

*If you are NOT currently a member, please do NOT make a random payment.
This event is for group members only, not those wishing to join the group.

PLEASE READ THE BELOW THOROUGHLY.

Ladies I choose to collect 1 fee once per year. Collecting gold coins or $5pp per event like some other organisers do is just not my cup of tea.

So What are Membership fees for?
As per the blurb on our main page Membership fees go towards organiser subscription fees/Meetup fees which were $175Aud per 6 months and have increased substantially to $288.15Aud per 6 months, any group booking fees at functions, credit card fees, and any shortfalls that may happen at events.Any surplus monies from membership fees is spent on our Christmas Party or Birthday Party in way of venue hire or food or bar tab, even a performer etc. Once all outgoings have been paid I put all membership fees back into the group.
Most events are for Financial members, particularly when there is a small number allowed at venues

STEPS TO BEGIN YOUR MEMBERSHIP:

*Jump on the waitlist and Forward payment straight away. Please pay the correct amount.See below.
*Ensure you update your settings to allow you to receive event notifications/changes.
*Once payment has been received you will see "paid" next to your name in the attendees list and you will be moved to "Going"....and your application is successful.
*As usual, if payment is not received 3 days after you have rsvp'd for a paid event you will be moved to not-going and lose your spot.

There are 2 types of membership. Please pay the correct amount.
$35 for renewals
OR
$45 for Newbies in your 1st year of membership then it will be $35 each year thereafter.

RSVP's close 9am March 30th.

Any member who has not paid the membership fee by 9am on March 31 will be politely removed from our group-nothing personal-so please please don't take offence-just keeping an "active membership" base.
You are very welcome to re-join us at any point.

Membership will run from 1 March 2026- 28 February 2027.

I have tentatively put together a few ideas on our 2026 calendar.
Most dates are TBC, but will include our fave events : new bars, restaurants and pubs, a High Tea, Happy Hours, Live music, a picnic, Melbourne Cup Luncheon, a Sunday Roast or 2, the movies, VIVID, and the breakfast club.
Let's do Putt Putt golf, ride a novelty train ? A Salsa Lesson? a surfing lesson?
Perhaps we could add Pub Choir, a Cork'n' Canvas, a cooking class, a weekend of glamping?A 3 day weekend P&O cruise?
Personally I'd like to revisit the Tea Cosy , and the Winter Igloo's this year, try go cart racing, attend a "Candlelight" musical event, and experience the Pasta and Opera night at an Inner West restaurant.
Again we will have a mix of free events and paid events, including a grand Xmas party in November and a big birthday bash in March.

For the newbies...Girls I do run a tight ship, you'll get use to it, but its worth it. It is just the loveliest group of women Ive been so very lucky to meet.
For the Regulars... I can be fussy, OCD, and even pedantic at times (nodding your head right now) ,some days it's a hard gig but I do enjoy all of your friendships and I just love our adventures, and I thank y'all sincerely for your understanding, our mutual respect, and adherence to our group rules.

Most importantly, Membership numbers will remain small to allow us to continue to embrace our friendships over A Glass of Sparkling x
