Come and try a little Afro-Brazilian drumming! I am very excited to be holding this session, right by the water at Abbotsford Sea Scout Hall.

Drumming is a universal language, and a really positive way of connecting with others. Experience the joy of learning a drum part, and contributing to the collective sound produced by the group. You'll feel it throughout your whole body.

Absolutely no experience necessary, just a basic sense of rhythm. Don’t worry if you are a little nervous, I'll give you something very simple to start with. Just come and have a blast with us and help us make some noise in a welcoming environment. I'll be encouraging you to step while you drum too, so it's a great way to get that step count up for the day!

All drums are provided. The hall is right next to the Abbotsford ferry wharf - why not have a lovely ferry ride in, and then join us for some drumming.

There's also a club within walking distance if anyone wants to go for a cheeky bevvy/lunch afterwards.

Cost of the session is $12, prepayment is required.
