Is This Trip Right for You?
Pace: Expect 3-4 hours of walking every touring day, as well as considerable time standing. Due to specific drop off and pick up points, additional walking to and from sights may be necessary.
Terrain: On this tour, you may need to walk on uneven and challenging terrain, navigate steep steps or slopes, and encounter cobblestone streets.
Things to Consider: This tour is not recommended for people who have difficulty walking. Some hotels are built in the traditional local style and have no air conditioning. During heat waves, these hotels can become uncomfortable, even at higher elevations. Hotels in Scotland often encompass the traditional style of the region. You can expect small rooms with low lighting and limited access to electrical outlets. Rooms may lack amenities, including air-conditioning, microwaves, refrigerators, in-room safe, and luggage racks. Meals in Scotland will often take place at your hotel. The food served is local to the region with limited variety. Many hotels have limited restaurant staff and therefore meals can take longer than expected.
