β Meet from 9:45am, we aim to start our walk at 10:01am insha'Allah.
β Note: Active Muslims is equally about focusing on the actual activity, in this case, it is a paced walk/hike (and not a stroll), therefore it is advised to approach and attend these events with that mindset, intention and purpose.
βͺοΈ Starts: Colliers Wood Stations (Northern Line)
β©οΈ Ends: Beddington Lane Tram Stop (frequent trams to Wimbledon Station)
π What to bring: appropriate clothing/shoes, water bottle & snacks. No lunch/prayer breaks as it's not a long walk.

ποΈ The River Wandle has a long history with communities, dating back to the Roman era. Throughout the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries it became heavily industrialised, supporting the manufacture of textiles, paper and tobacco, with as many as 68 mills along its length.
