Trolls Trek at the Arboretum

The goal of this get-together is to get to know each other and have fun! There will be more challenging hikes we will go on this year but this is not it. We will go at a moderate pace.

We will meet in front of the Visitor's Center at the Arboretum (https://www.ncarboretum.org/plan-a-visit/hours-directions-prices/) and begin the trek at about 3:30. There is no cost to the hike; there is a charge when you drive in.

Please arrive on time as we may need to break up into smaller groups, depending on the number of attendees. The hike will take approximately an hour. We will meet after the hike at the same spot in front of the Visitor's Center afterwards.

After that, anyone that wants to can meet at Stone Ridge Tavern (https://thestoneridgetavern.com/) for drinks and/or dinner.

Bring a water bottle and dress appropriately for the conditions. By participating, you accept full responsibility for your physical ability and preparedness to engage in this activity. Although we will try to stay together, each person should be prepared to find their way back to the Visitor's Center should they need to.
