What is GEOCACHING? A geocache is a container. People hide the containers & mark their location on a digital map with a clue. We then try to find them. There are approximately 14,000 containers hidden all over South Australia! (To give you an idea of what geocaching looks like I have uploaded some photos from our past geocaching events).

DIFFICULTY: EASY. Must be capable of walking for approx 2 hours. It doesn't matter if you are new to geocaching, we will use the map on my phone & stay together as a group & you will learn as we go.

THE PLAN: The plan is that we will spend about 2-3 hours walking around trying to find as many geocaches as we can.

BRING: a pen, water, some gardening gloves may be useful

WEAR: hat, sunscreen, sensible walking shoes

SAFETY: Watch out for traffic. Be careful crossing roads.

Beware of snakes/spiders - look before putting your hand under a rock/log!

RESTRICTIONS: No dogs, No children, No guests.
Please no runners/no fast walkers who race off ahead

Maximum Group Size is 10. This event is limited to a small number of people so that we can stay together as a group & everyone can have a go.

Please aim to get there 10 minutes early as we will be leaving at 09.30am sharp.

DISCLAIMER: The group events work on the same basis as a group of friends who go out walking together, and who invite others to join them. Therefore the event hosts assume no responsibility and will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss occurring as a result of attending any group event.
