Barossa Walk 2 - Altona CSR Landcare Reserve Trails

Our 6.7 kilometre walk is an extension of the usual 5.4 kilometre Grade 2 walk near Lyndoch. We will retrace some of our route by returning back to our starting point via the A6 and A3 junctions. The walk is for a minimum of 4 people. Be prepared for some rain. My number is 0487 317 177 should you need to contact me on the day. After the walk, we might like to have some brunch in nearby Lyndoch. There's also the possibility of an afternoon visit to Steingarten Lookout, Whispering Wall at Barossa Reservoir, or Sandy Creek Conservation Park before returning to Adelaide.

We meet at the trailhead on Altona Road. It is where the road does a 90 degree turn at 136 Altona Road, Altona. Please consult one of the maps in the link below. We will do Option 4 'long loop' of combining the three different trails and the return via part of Section 1 and 2 (See above).

Wear suitable clothing including long pants, have suitable footwear, i.e.. hiking boots, bring adequate water (suggest 2 litres) and some snacks and have sun protection.
