Mt Lofty Botanical Gardens Spring Hike!
Meet at Measdays Lookout from 8.15am for a 8.30 am start!
From Measdays Lookout we will head down to the Main Waterfall Gully to Mt Lofty Track and head UP before detouring shortly before the Summit towards the Historical Arthurs Seat Ruins and The Magnificent Mt Lofty Botanical Gardens.
We will have a good look around the Gardens and a 20 minute coffee break to soak up the atmosphere, before climbing the rear of Mt Lofty up to the Summit and track back down before completing the loop to Measdays Lookout.
This will be a HARD but REWARDING HIKE of approximately 15 kms & 4 hours duration as we will be climbing significant sections of BOTH SIDES OF MT LOFTY! You will NEED TO BE FIT to RSVP and attend this walk.
Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, shoes with good grip, money for a coffee in the gardens & dress appropriately for the weather.
DUE TO LIMITED CARPARKING AT MEASDAYS LOOKOUT, PLEASE TRY AND ORGANIZE CARPOOLING AMONGST YOURSELVES TO HELP ENSURE THERE IS ENOUGH ROOM FOR EVERYONE TO PARK.
