Adelaide Wine Lovers (AWL) is dedicated to creating events for people of all ages to get together and enjoy wine in an informal setting. You will enjoy the palate of new and much loved wines in both a social and educational environment.<br>
The focus of AWL is on wine appreciation through wine education and wine appreciation events. Events include wine region tours, food and wine festivals, wine industry lunches and dinners; wine tastings, wine education events and social events at various venues around Adelaide CBD and inner metro. <br>You will be able to enjoy meeting and socialising with those who are like-minded. <br>
To keep the group vibrant and interesting, and for you to benefit from membership we ask that members actively and regularly participate upon gaining membership.
All members are encouraged to suggest and host Meetups. We're always interested in hearing of innovative and noteworthy wine events and venues for a Meetup, so if you have an event of interest to you please do let Simon know.
The Organiser advises that to keep the website viable and to cover website costs an Annual Meetup Membership Investment of $10 is payable via direct bank deposit or Paypal on gaining membership and renewed on 1 January each year. This annual membership is in lieu of any costs to attend regular functions other than those requiring prepayment by bank deposit or Paypal.
If you find you are unable to attend an event for which you have rsvp'd "YES" - then PLEASE update your RSVP to indicate this as some events do have a waiting list.
It is at the discretion of the Organiser or Event Host of each Meetup to determine if the Meet is for Members Only or open to guests.
This meetup group is for wine appreciation, and is not a dating/matchmaking site and our aim is to foster a friendship group using wine as the conduit to link like minded people. <br>We need all members to respect the privacy of others and to respect their personal space.
Any inappropriate emails, posts or behaviour will be treated with zero tolerance, and the membership of the offending member will be revoked.
Finally-we encourage the responsible consumption of alcohol and need members to realise that getting untidy isn't a good look and reflects poorly on the individual and the group alike.
