Summer Sunset Walk at the Levee (Lake Elsinore)

Meet at 5:20 to park and we step off at 5:30.
We will not be waiting for people like last month. If you are late... walk fast and catch up to us. "No Shows" are not appreciated... update your RSVP status.

This is our last Summer Sunset Walking / Hiking the second Tuesday of the month. More hikes / walks will be planned for future weekends.

With darkness coming in sooner each night, we are keeping it safe and returning to the levee for a flat, out and back walk. It will be dark as we finish, so bring a flashlight or use the flashlight on your cell phone.

Directions: Head towards DIAMOND STADIUM (Storm Stadium) and tell any parking attendant that you are parking at the levee... follow the road all the way around until you see us. Basically, you are driving the large loop around the stadium until you see us. You can also plug "Lake Elsinore levee" into your GPS.

October 14 Walk as far as you'd like... 1, 2, 3, or 4 miles and then turn back towards the parking lot.

Bring with you: small pouch / bag to carry bottled water(s), snack, car keys, phone. You may also want to have a hat / visor, sunglasses and sunscreen. Please wear appropriate footwear as you'll be walking over dirt, gravel, pebbles, etc.
