Welcome to Adventures with Rick!
We are a group of friendly, inclusive, fun loving sociable types who enjoy getting out and about doing a variety of activities in the company of both old and new friends alike. Games and picnics around a firepit on the beach, cycling, sailing, lunches, dinners, bowling, live music and entertainment events, football golf, pitch and putt and maybe whatever else you might like to suggest...? If you have any ideas about something different that you might like to do, please tell us. We may not have thought of it yet and it might be something we could all enjoy doing together! The founding members are from far flung parts of Cornwall and so events are not limited to one specific area. The existing members also look forward to welcoming you, so do come along. We are sure you will be glad you did!
We have just a couple of requests;-
* That you please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to make it to an event you've signed up for.
* That you please not attend if you or anybody in your household has shown symptoms of Covid-19 or has tested positive in the last 10 days.

CEILIDH ( BARN DANCE) WITH THE BRIM CEILIDH BAND.
Devoran Village Hall, Quay Road, Devoran, TR3 6PW, Falmouth, al, GBFancy a evening of fun and laughter, come and join us at the Devoran Hall.
A hybrid of Cornwall's top folk musicians, The Brim Ceilidh Band specialise in providing an upbeat ceilidh / barn dance with an exciting and energetic mix of both new and traditional dances combined with an upbeat and full sound from the band. No need to have any idea what ceilidh dancing is, just an enthusiasm to have some fun. Ceilidh dancing is very inclusive, suitable for everyone even those with two left feet. No experience or partner required. Kate Smith will be the caller for the evening and will show you how to do all the dances.
Doors open 19:30. Dancing from 20:00.
A bar will be run by volunteers from the Devoran Village Hall Committee and will support the village hall.
The hall has a car park and the village is served by public buses 36, 36A and U1.
We look forward to dancing with you.We want to keep our public ceilidhs affordable for everyone so you will see there are different adult advance ticket prices. The regular price (£10) will cover our costs. The supporter price (£12.50) allows us to pay the band a modest fee. The budget price (£7.50) is because we want everyone to be able to afford to join us for a ceilidh. Please pay as you feel you can afford. but please you will need to book a ticket.
