Adventureweiner Club (TM)

Meeting Location: South side of the lake near the golf course, which is across the street from the track/sports field; We will now be waiting to the left of the restrooms near the dock/big cement ramp. Please stay off of the main path while waiting.

Let's get our doggies together and do a lap around Greenlake. It will be like a wiener dog parade!

NOTE: IF YOU RSVP YES AND YOUR PLANS CHANGE, PLEASE COME BACK AND CHANGE YOUR RESPONSE TO "NO".

As usual, we will be walking counter-clockwise around the lake and stopping along the way for a group photo.

The path around Greenlake is flat and paved and is about 2.8 miles. It usually takes us about 1 hour at a moderately brisk pace. We will try to keep the group somewhat together but people sometimes settle into their own smaller groups. We will at some point on the walk and take a group photo.

PLEASE NOTE:

YOU DO NOT NEED TO RSVP FOR YOUR DOG AS A "GUEST". IT IS ASSUMED YOU WILL BRING ONE (OR SOME. HA, HA). PLEASE BE SURE TO ONLY RSVP FOR THE HUMANS IN YOUR PARTY TO LEAVE ROOM FOR OTHER PEOPLE.

Marathon Park is waterfront park nestled into the southwestern corner of Capitol Lake's north basin. The Capitol Lake Trail is a 1.70 mile packed gravel pack that circumnavigates the lake. There are restrooms

Park rules: Dogs must be on leash and you must clean up after them.

Parking restrooms: Free parking is available at the Marathon Park parking lot and on the street along Deschutes Parkway. There are restrooms near the parking lot.
