Friday – Arrival & Aber Falls Hike
Arrive at accommodation: 2:00 PM
Afternoon hike to Aber Falls
A scenic trail through a beautiful wooded valley leading to one of Snowdonia’s most impressive waterfalls, standing at 120 feet tall.
Hike Details:
- Grade: Moderate
- Distance: 5 miles / 8 km
- Duration: 2-3 hours
- Ascent: 280m
- Terrain: Some rough groundDinner: Enjoy a relaxed meal at a local pub.
Saturday - Summit Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)
Early morning start to begin our ascent via the quieter Rhyd Ddu & South Ridge route, offering stunning views and sections of light scrambling.
Hike Details:
- Grade: Tough
- Distance: 7.5 miles / 12 km
- Duration: 7 hours - Ascent: 900m / 2950ft
- Terrain: Good paths, some exposure Return to accommodation for rest and relaxation. Dinner: Enjoy an evening meal in the local area.Sunday – Two Lakes Walk
After breakfast and check-out, we’ll enjoy a final scenic hike around Llyn Geirionydd & Llyn Crafnant, walking alongside the reservoirs and through peaceful woodland with beautiful views.
Hike Details:
- Grade: Moderate
- Distance: 6 miles / 10 km
- Duration: 3-4 hours
- Ascent: 330m / 1080ft
- Terrain: Mix of good paths, tracks, and uneven ground Finish by 2-3 PM, allowing time for onward travel.Accommodation: Hostel in Conwy

Grade 3+ (Challenging-Tough) This weekend includes a mix of moderate and more demanding hikes. While two of the walks are moderate, the ascent of Snowdon is at the tougher end of Grade 3, with some steep terrain, exposure, and scrambling sections. You should be comfortable hiking for up to 9 hours with sustained ascent and descent. Good fitness and hill-walking experience are recommended, but you don’t need to be an expert.Preparation and Level:
You're responsible for your own health and safety, and it's important to be physically capable of hiking continuously for 9 hours. To join the walks, make sure you're dressed appropriately, as inappropriate attire will result in non-participation.Min 8 people needed to run this trip. Food, drink, personal equipment and transport are not included.

Join us for this wonderfully varied circular in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Expect peaceful woodland trails, chalky ridgelines, panoramic viewpoints, and postcard-worthy villages.
Distance: 16 km
Time: Approx. 4.5 hours plus breaks
Elevation Gain: 373 m
Grade: 2.5/5 – Moderate to Challenging
Terrain: Mixed paths including woodland trails, open tracks, bridleways and village lanes. One steep hill at the start.

The Hike:
Our walk begins at Chilworth Station, quickly heading into peaceful countryside before climbing up to St Martha’s Hill, a sandy ridge offering wide views across the Weald and towards the South Downs on a clear day.
We then join the North Downs Way, walking along the ridge to reach the popular viewpoint at Newlands Corner, where we’ll pause to soak up the scenery.
From there, the route gently descends into the historic and much-loved village of Shere, famous for its pretty cottages and film appearances.
After a chance to rest and explore, we continue on quiet woodland trails through Albury Heath, enjoying a more tranquil and lesser-trodden return to Chilworth.Meeting Point

- Our walks go ahead in all weather, so dress appropriately. Always carry a waterproof jacket.
- Check the forecast and bring sun cream, a hat, or sunglasses for warm days, and waterproofs, a warm hat, and gloves for cold or wet days.
- Wear trousers or leggings to reduce the risk of tick bites and nettle stings. Avoid denim or cotton.
- Sturdy walking shoes or boots are essential. Open-toe shoes are unsuitable.
- Bring at least 1.5 litres of water, lunch, and snacks, as there may be no opportunities to buy food or drinks along the route.

Beginner-Friendly Canoeing Taster Session
Location: Herts Young Mariners Base
Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Cost: £30 per person plus meetups booking fee OR pay by CARDCome and give Canoeing a go in a relaxed and supportive environment! This 2-hour taster session is perfect for complete beginners or those looking to build confidence on the water.
Taking place on the calm waters of Cheshunt Lake, you'll learn the basics of paddling, steering, and staying safe while having fun. All equipment is provided, and a friendly instructor will guide you throughout.
What to wear/ bring:
Leggings (not cotton) / tee shirt (not cotton)
Trainers/ Water Shoes (that you don’t mind getting wet) (flipflops/ shoes that can fall off are not suitable)
If its cold - Fleece/ hat
If its warm - Hat, Sunglasses and suncream.

Something to drinkWeather: We love the sun but if it is having a day off please be aware this activity will still go ahead in the rain. (You will splash yourself anyway!) Please dress for the weather.
Unsafe weather conditions: We will monitor the weather and may have to cancel at short notice (the morning of the event) if weather conditions look to be unsafe to paddle. This can include strong winds, heavy downpours, thunder and lightning.

Join us on this hiking adventure as we head to the coast for the best of Dorset Get ready for an unforgettable summer escape on the stunning Dorset coast. Friday - Corfe Castle Walk
We will walk a scenic loop around Corfe Castle with far-reaching views over Purbeck. This is a great introduction to the area, with plenty of views of the surrounding countryside.
Distance: 11 km | Ascent: 300 m | Grade 2 - Moderate

Today we explore one of the most dramatice sections of the Jurrassic coast. Hiking the fossil-rich bay at Kimmeridge and the panoramic viewpoint of Swyre Head - the highest point in Purbeck. A proper day of adventure and achievement.
Distance: 15 km | Ascent: 480 m | Grade 3 - Challenging
Packed lunch on the go Evening dinner and social time in a local townSunday - Old Harry Rocks
A classic Dorset walk featuring chalk sea stacks of Old Harry Rocks, the golden beaches of Studland cliff paths, and quite countryside paths. It's a beautiful blend of coastal drama and peaceful walking with plenty of great photo opportunities.
Distance: 16 km | Ascent: 276 m | Grade 2: Moderate
Return for another relaxed evening and optional group dinnerMonday - Lulworth Cove Finale
We will finish with an iconic walk from Lulworth Cove. With Iconic views of the coastline including Durdle Door. A perfect final hike to end the trip on a high.
Distance: 14 km | Ascent: 479 m | Grade: 2-3 Moderate - Challenging
After the walk we will say our goodbyes in the afternoon and head home.Accommodation:
Relax at the welcoming YHA Swanage, based just 10 mins walk from Swanage beach. This comfortable hostel offers everything you need for a restful stay:
