Hello Fellow Gamers!
A Flock of Gamers is more than just a gaming community. We are an open and diverse community of gamers from all over Los Angeles, California, and the world that uses gaming as common ground for building life-long relationships through a variety of priceless experiences! With an emphasis on mental and physical health, we support each other in both the digital and real world to manifest the best version of ourselves that we can be!
We host regular and spontaneous events. Many of our events are inspired by the suggestions of our members on our Discord server! To get in on the conversation and make your own event suggestions, ask for an invitation!

A Bump in the Night (Costume Party)

Party: A Bump in the Night is a wild and fantastical celebration of the world’s favorite spooky holiday! The premise is simple, put on your favorite costume, grab a drink, and enjoy the excellent vibes under the moon lit sky!
Music, games, and mixed drinks are available for everyone to enjoy!

Let the people be the judge of your creative costume choices and see if you can collect the most admiration among a plethora of passionate gamers and Halloween enthusiasts! First prize wins $50!Did someone also say BYOB!????
Please bring your drink of choice. In addition, the host will be providing water, snacks, and some mixed drinks for all to enjoy! Please bring your favorite food, snack, or drink to share and be rewarded with the chance to try ours! Vegan friendly and allergen safe food items can be kept separate if necessary. Ice chests, compostable plates, and reusable cups and utensils will be available.RSVP lists fill FAST so be sure to get your spot now!

Headshots: Photo Shoot-out (Free Photoshoot)

Headshots: Photo Shoot-out is a free-style celebration of our love for putting things into frame. Bring your camera (any camera!) and your creative eye! Each of us will act as subjects for each other, prepose creative direction, and explore the insight and motivations we all bring to the table. This is a safe place for creatives to learn and experiment. Now, let's capture the moment!
Models and Subjects Welcome!
Looking for an opportunity to get some new self portraits? Got a new outfit you want to capture your best side in? Do you have inspiration and just need some one to capture it? If you're willing to get experimental, you are welcome to join this creative session, no camera required.Lighting Gear Available
The host posses a small array of amateur lighting gear for both studio and outdoor use, free to use by any one participating. Participants are always welcome to bring their own gear if they are comfortable doing so.Multiple Locations
The rooftop is the best place to get a cool snap of the LA skyline and catch those dreamy rays during golden hour but there is also a small studio available if the majority of participants prefer a controlled lighting environment.Privacy
Though we volunteer to be subjects for each other, all subjects have the right to request any photo of them be deleted or transferred to them. Photographers are expected to cooperate with these requests if they happen. We all must act with maturity and avoid taking photos of a subject from any angle the subject would consider violating in any way. Photographers are not permitted to charge for any photo exchange or transfer, you may set your own policy for editing a photo(s) if it is requested. Any participant may tip another for their work if they feel so inclined.Meet at - 226 N Lake St, Rooftop @5pm (Golden Hour at 6:17)

Gamers Touch Grass (Social Outing)

Gamers Touch Grass is a whole new way to think about gaming! Doing it OUTSIDE! The premise is simple: put on your sneakers, head out the front door, and bask in the sunlight as we remind ourselves how far life stretches beyond our screens! There is no end to the green grass on every side!
Here's the Plan so far:
Meet at: THE GETTY MUSEUM - 1200 Getty Center Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90049 (MAKE SURE TO MAKE A RESERVATION IN ADVANCE)
We will be waiting at the base of the large staircases in front of the museum entrance until around 12:30.
What we are doing: Challenging ourselves to whiteness and absorb the expansive history of art, philosophy, and culture on display at this beautiful facility!
What to bring: Comfortable cloths, water, a few extra bucks, a friend.BONUS:
Troy loves to take pictures. Capturing candid moments of people enjoying life is a passion. With your permission we would like to capture high quality highlights of the day, edit, and send to you for personal use. No donation necessary (but appreciated).RSVP Policy:
