Ciné Club

Accords mets et vins français classiques

Christopher et Karen Thielman vous guideront avec des conseils utiles pour associer vos spécialités françaises préférées à des vins qui complètent leurs saveurs et leurs textures. En cours de route, il peut y avoir un soupçon de vocabulaire lié au vin, une goutte d'histoire culinaire française et une pincée de techniques de dégustation du vin alors qu'ils discutent de la convivialité de la table française.
Le chef Christopher Thielman et Karen Thielman, C.S.W., ont dirigé des groupes en France pour des visites culinaires et œnologiques pendant 19 ans. Ils continuent de partager leur passion pour la cuisine, le vin et la culture française à travers des démonstrations culinaires en ligne et des cours de cuisine et d'œnologie dans un restaurant français local. Karen est spécialiste certifiée du vin auprès de la Society of Wine Educators et juge de vin pour les concours de vin de l'État de l'Illinois. Chris est un chef exécutif certifié et un éducateur culinaire certifié qui a enseigné les arts culinaires et la pâtisserie au College of DuPage pendant 32 ans.

If you're a member of the AF DuPage and are attending a monthly program for the first time, please RSVP to programmes@AFnorthshore.org with “DuPage” in the subject line. Include your name and Zoom screen name, if different. If you're a member of our Meetup group, we'll mark you as such and you'll no longer need to send RSVP emails as long as you RSVP on Meetup.

Online Apéro Conversation
·OnlineOnlineMeet fellow Francophones for evening conversation. This gathering is facilitated by one or more of our native or fluent AFduNS leaders.
Pour yourself a glass of wine, gather some snacks and settle in at home for our online conversation group.
The meeting will be held on Zoom. Although you don't need to download Zoom to attend this meeting, we encourage you to do so (https://zoom.us/download) for a smoother experience. Depending on the number of attendees, we may break out into smaller groups.
