City of Seaside Presents the 38th Annual Sunday Blues In The Park, starting July 13th through August 10th, 1- 4:30 pm at Laguna Grande Park.

This event is so much fun! We just bring our beach chairs, snacks, and blankets, and relax while listening to the music. There are also many vendors offering shopping and food options to purchase a variety of items and cuisine. And it's FREE admission.

Come join me for healthy drinks and snacks while we chat and review books. I am not good at book clubs ( I never read the book in time...LOL) So, this is a spin on the traditional book club.

This is a fun activity I used to host when I was a manager at a youth psychiatric facility. We would do a book review, not a club. This is how it works: Each person brings a book, they quickly rate and review the book they read, and at the end we would trade books based on what each person wants to read next. We would bring the books back at the next book review (however all of the books belonged to my little library in my office).

We can just recommend our favorite books if you don't feel comfortable trading/sharing. Anyone can come and share since there is no specific book assigned, AND...you can also just come with no book/review and just hang out like I usually do.

I plan to do this monthly while we also check out local coffee shops, cafe's bars. restaurants...whatever. Hope to see you there!
