I wanted to touch base with everyone to let you know the future direction of Awe. Effective July 10th, AWE will no longer be utilizing the Meetup platform. At the cost of $300 per year, I will no longer absorb the cost.
AWE will remain as a Facebook Group and events will be posted here and at Meetup until Meetup’s account is dissolved.
Another positive, ANYONE can post an event very easily or even share a cool story or location to visit by continuing to visit us here.
To piggyback on that statement, AWE is “our” group. If you enjoy getting out and having fun in nature while making friends and memories, please help and post an event!
We all lead a busy life, retired or not, with the same 24/7/365. If just a few step up, we can keep activities on the calendar and continue to enjoy each other. Do you want to bike? Tube? Hike? Camp? Post with what you want to do to fit in with your schedule.
