What do you get when you combine an interactive crash course in test driven development, an exercise in pushing continuous delivery as far as we can and retro gaming?

Test Invaders of course! A hands-on activity focussing on fast feedback, test driven development, automated deployment and continuous delivery via the classic favourite, "Space Invaders"

There is something for everybody!

Technical participants will pair to incrementally fix and improve the game; maintaining and deploying working, tested software as it evolves. (Pairing spots are limited and, ideally, participants will have at least some practical knowledge of programming and/or test driven development).

Non-technical participants will help identify defects, explore new functionality and shape the software; seeing features realised as development progresses.

This is a small group, collaborative learning exercise but there are no marks for participation. So if getting involved sounds like too much hard work, feel free to come along and check out what the teams can come up with, it's guaranteed to be not what you expect.
