Learning to Apply GenAI at Work

Details

The rapid rise of AI and other technologies is rapidly changing the work landscape. With team members challenged to think about how to use GenAI and other assisted technologies to work faster / smarter / more effectively, this workshop is designed to teach you how to teach others how to think about; and explore GenAI in different ways to set themselves up for the future of work.

Struggling to think about how GenAI can be used in day-to-day work, or helping others do the same?
Well one of the superpowers that will help you get ready for the future is the concept of "Jobs To Be Done"
Why? Well because although your "Job" might be changing and it's not quite clear what the "Jobs" of the future will be, the "Jobs To Be Done", don't change even as technology rapidly changes. Technology just enables us to do those jobs in different ways.

This workshop is a mix of hands on workshop activities, where we will first start exploring what "Jobs To Be Done" it is that you currently do, and then we will use these Jobs to feed into a GenAI exploration workshop, where the use and apply GenAI tools to speed up / solve for the jobs that you do, and reflect on their applicability and usefulness.

This workshop will help you explore and challenge yourself, while also teaching others to do the same, setting themselves up to deal with some of the challenges that will face them in the future of work.
