The QLD Agtech Meetup heads West to Emerald... mark your calendars for this exciting agricultural innovation event in Emerald 18 + 19 March 2024.

(In-person only) LIVESTOCK SESSION

On Monday afternoon 18 March, explore interactive topics such as, agtech adoption in feedlots, livestock monitoring products, a real-life example of innovation where agtech co-designed through a venture client initiative, data analytics and strategy, business models for carbon and hear about the new Zero Net Emissions CRC—a stellar lineup including CSIRO, AACo, CQU, Carbonaught and Vence. The Livestock session is sponsored by AACo and will be held at DAF’s CQ Smart Cropping Centre, Emerald.

For something a bit more fun and interactive, join online or in person at CQU Emerald campus for "The Great Agtech Debate", where we unpack the hot topic of data ownership with producers and tech suppliers going head to head. Enjoy some nibbles and beverages whilst you have the opportunity to find out about some of the exciting work being done across the Queensland agtech ecosystem. Make new friends and reconnect with others. This event is hosted by FrontPaw and Pine Tree Projects.
(In-person only) CROPPING SESSION + BBQ BREKKY!
Get up early on Tuesday, 19 March, for a BBQ breakfast hosted by DAF CQ Smart Cropping Centre. Meet some of the young guns of agtech, do a farm tour and find out what DAF's CQSCC is all about with pop-up panels in the paddock, discuss collaborative agriculture and research priorities, and hear more about profitable and sustainable cropping systems. This impressive lineup includes people from DAF Qld, Field Solutions Group, UniSQ, CQU, GRDC, TNQ Drought Hub and UQ. The Cropping Session is hosted by DAF CQ Smart Cropping Centre.
