    Talk Overview:
The presentation will focus on Altrusion's recent tool development using AI models. Altrusion is actively building and deploying AI-enabled tools across our operations — from contract discovery to customer-facing platform features — allowing a lean team to compete at a scale far beyond our headcount. Our contract discovery bot runs daily across SAM.gov, 50 state procurement portals, DOE and federal agency sites, and over 60 university and international lab procurement pages, automatically identifying Request for Proposals (RFP) and Request for Quotes (RFQ) relevant to our capabilities, scoring them for relevance using Claude AI, and pushing qualified opportunities directly into our Notion pipeline. On the platform side, we've deployed a live AI quoting tool that gives buyers instant cost estimates for specialized components, and we've automated our content pipeline to keep supplier and product data synced in real time. Our supplier portal — built and iterated with AI-assisted development — streamlines onboarding and procurement workflows, and we continue to develop additional AI tools for pricing analysis, supplier matching, and equipment sourcing, building the intelligent operations backbone the advanced energy industry needs.

    Greg and Mason's Background:
Dr. Greg Van Dyk is a retired Air Force Colonel with 22 years of active-duty service and a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology. He has led some of the most complex programs in the US defense and nuclear enterprise — including a $3.2 billion ACAT I reentry vehicle program, acting director of NNSA NA-115 overseeing a 400-person multi-laboratory R&D workforce across Sandia, Lawrence Livermore, and Los Alamos, and Chief of Station at the UK Atomic Weapons Establishment where he opened the first DoD dialogue with UKAEA and UK fusion energy companies. He serves as Committee Lead for the Fusion Industry Association's Supply Chain and Space Committees and is now CEO of Altrusion, building a precision manufacturing workforce in rural Skagit County, WA.
Mason Gentry brings deep defense acquisition and supply chain leadership as Altrusion's Director of Supply Chains. A veteran Air Force program manager, Mason directed a $3.5 billion ACAT I nuclear modernization program and served as senior logistics authority for the $142 billion Sentinel ICBM program, where he led industrial base risk assessments and supply chain resilience strategies across DoD and private sector partners. Together, Greg and Mason bring rare alignment of national security credibility, nuclear program experience, and supply chain depth to the challenge of building the fusion energy industrial base.
Whether you're a beginner or expert user of AI tools, you'll walk away with practical insights.

NWIRC will provide light refreshments/snacks for in-person attendees.
