From Demo to Doing
If you’ve attended an AI & Society workshop before, you’ll know we don’t just talk about AI — we have done some live demos of a lot of technical AI terms - things you may have heard of but don't fully understand like vibe coding, MCPs, agents and RAG. You leave curious and want to practice these. Well now here's your chance.

We’ve demoed vibe coding in real time.
Explored MCPs in practice.
Tested Claude workflows together.
Run live RAG experiments in the room.

And every time, there’s strong curiosity:
“How do I try this myself?”
The Practice Lab exists for that moment.

## Why This Session?

In our workshops, time always runs out.
There’s more to test.
More to build.
More to explore.
This session creates dedicated space to practise — because AI literacy isn’t built by watching demos alone. It’s built by doing.

***

## What Happens

We’ll begin with a short practical demo to spark ideas.
Then you’ll move into a guided practice block where you can:

  • Experiment with AI tools
  • Try vibe coding something small
  • Test prompts and refine outputs
  • Explore ideas you’ve been curious about

You work at your own pace. Technical experience is not required.

## AI & Society

We don’t just experiment with tools.
We reflect on impact.
Throughout the session, we’ll ask:

  • What problem are you solving?
  • Where should human judgement remain central?
  • Who benefits — and who might be excluded?

Understanding AI’s societal implications helps you use it more responsibly and effectively.

***

## Who This Is For

  • Professionals building AI confidence
  • Founders and creatives experimenting with tools
  • Students developing practical capability
  • Anyone curious about applying AI thoughtfully

This session is inclusive and open to all.

***

## What To Bring

  • Your own laptop
  • Access to free AI tools
  • A small idea or question to explore

We’ve demoed.
Now we practise.
