AI Tinkerers is a meetup series exclusively for active builders tinkering, experimenting, or even shipping products with foundation models and generative AI. This is a community for engineers, researchers, prompt engineers, creative technologists, and “vibe-coders”, especially those who can demo working projects, dissect technical decisions in public, and swap hard-won lessons with peers. Our community values unpolished code, candid failures, and the technical deep dives that accelerate real progress.
This meetup is your chance to showcase your latest AI projects, network with fellow tinkerers, and learn from industry experts.
Our goal is to foster a space where you can experiment, fail, and succeed while pushing the boundaries of AI technology. Whether you're building your first AI model or creating an AI-powered product, you'll find support, inspiration, and camaraderie among fellow AI enthusiasts.

AI Tinkerers is a global community with events happening in over 80 cities. The meetup event series began on the US West Coast and quickly gained popularity, attracting tinkerers from around the world.

We’re bringing the AI Tinkerers builder community to Brisbane for an in-person evening of hands-on demos and builder-to-builder knowledge exchange.
After attending a number of AI Tinkerers events in the US, we were inspired to bring the event to Australia to help foster the sharing of ideas and create a venue for fellow tinkerers to meet.
