Description:
Welcome to the weekly AI virtual seminars, in collaboration with Oracle. Join us for deep dive tech talks on AI, hands-on experiences on code labs, workshops, and networking with speakers & fellow developers from all over the world.Hands-on workshop: Improving AI Predictions using Location Data
Speakers: Rahul Tasker (Oracle) | Denise Myrick (Oracle) | Ramu Murakami Gutierrez (Oracle)
Abstract: Power your business decisions with location data using Spatial AI in Oracle Autonomous Database. What is the predicted impact of a highway project on safety? Where is the next unemployment hotspot going to be? What is the predicted solar energy adoption of a new housing subdivision, when you include the impact of adoption by neighbors? Many business decisions are impacted by location data. With the Python APIs for Spatial predictive analytics in Oracle Autonomous Database you can easily include location information in your predictive models. Spatial algorithms can enhance ML by accounting for geographical variations of predictive factors, detection of spatial patterns such us geographical hotspots and outliers, and more.Join us in a hands-on workshop to learn how to use these APIs in Oracle Autonomous Database. You will work with vehicle registration and demographic data to create models for better prediction of electric vehicle adoption.
What you will learn from the workshop:
- - Basics of location-based analysis
- - Location driven machine learning
- - Basics of Oracle Autonomous Database
