UREGENT: Food Donations for PACE Seniors

Hey Everyone, 1st I'm sorry I haven't been using this group as I wanted to. I want it to serve as a hub for various services and programs that people can get involved with in Alamance County, and be a referral stream for people who would like to volunteer and work with the awesome people at Impact Alamance and For Alamance.

today is something different- the event is really a specific event, but I'm assisting the team at PACE with collecting food for seniors. With the government shutdown alot of our people are struggling and doubly so when it comes to some of our Seniors. PACE is a wonderful program that provides a day program 5 days a week for seniors, including activities, medical care, and companionship and generally assist with allowing people to remain in their homes or in assisted living facilities.

Note on Time- I made the event for as long as the parameters here would let me. So its not super time specific but the sooner we can get donations the better.

So I also run a social group, called The Dysfunctional Clubhouse, we do weekly game nights, weekly movie nights, and this Saturday we have our annual Halloween party. The reason I bring up the other group is that we'll be taking donations at my place in Elon during all events and anytime otherwise, or I'd be happy to meet people wherever if they have donations. Thanks for any help you can provide, and if you don't think you can do much, you can do a lot just by getting the word out :)
