Authentic Relating Games Night
Details
## Authentic Relating Game Night
## January 14, 6-8pm
## Guilderland Public Library
## Normanskill Room
This stand alone introductory workshop develops practical tools for speaking more truthfully, listening more deeply, and meeting conflict with more kindness.
It begins light and playful, then gradually invites more honesty, depth, and skill in handling real-life dynamics. This two-hour session blends movement, conversation, and reflection.
A note about timing – We ask that you arrive on time so we can settle in together and make the most of our shared evening. Starting together helps create the sense of ease, focus, and trust that allows the games to work.
Our Shared Agreements – Before we begin, we’ll take a moment to name a few simple agreements that support everyone in the room:
We take care of ourselves—listening to our own limits and choosing when to step in or step back from a game.
We take care of others—practicing care for one another’s well-being, honoring each person’s experience as their own, and respecting privacy (no photos or videos).
We lean into our edges, while allowing others to lean into theirs—remembering that growth can be a little messy, sometimes uncomfortable, and often deeply rewarding.
By the end, participants will have practical tools for speaking more truthfully, listening more deeply, and meeting conflict with more kindness.
