Real Estate in Web3

In this session, we explore how blockchain and real estate are being combined across the Web3 ecosystem and clarify what “property on-chain” really means in practice.

We begin with a practical overview of the different ways projects are using blockchain in property markets, including tokenised ownership models, fractional participation, and property-backed coordination systems.

In the second half, Ethical Finance founder Shoeb walks through how their lease-to-own housing model works in the real world. Participants will learn how the application process works, how payments contribute toward long-term ownership, who manages the property, and what responsibilities sit with tenants and providers.

This education-first session is designed to provide clarity, not hype — helping participants understand how blockchain can support housing access and whether lease-to-own models may suit their circumstances.
