Welcome to the Amarillo Board Game Group. We currently do live in person meetups for games.
We are a group that focuses on modern board games. Think Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Flip 7, Carcassonne etc....
At your first few meetups be prepared to learn new games. Many games are unfamiliar to newcomers, but we are happy to teach if you're willing to learn (the game bringers will always teach the game before play starts).
*Code of conduct:*
-Listen when people are explaining rules to you
-Everyone should foster an inviting, friendly atmosphere.
-Be respectful to the owners of our meetup location.
-Respect the board games and treat them as if they are your own!
-Don’t talk about contentious topics or start arguments. We’re here to have fun!
-We have a rule on bad behavior. It will not be tolerated. (its just a game, everyone wins being social and having fun)
