MONDAY MORNING PADDLE DOWN THE SALT RIVER.... Lets do the Salt!
A Big Thank You To Daren and Chris for Hosting This Mondays Paddle While I Am Off Playing In Vegas!!! Have a Great Time.
Can't think of a better way to Start the week off right, but with a morning relaxing paddle/float, and have some fun with fellow members on this ARIZONA ADVENTURE down the Beautiful Salt River Monday morning!!

Weather forecast: Will Be Great... Lows low 80 High 103
************* PLEASE NOTE EARLIER START TIME..... 7:00AM*************
This will be a nice and hot Monday on the Salt River so Come one Come all. Tubers are on river, they start at 9:00AM... we may have a few, that's okay it should still give us a good opportunity to enjoy all there is to see along the rivers edge like Bald Eagles, Great Blue Heron, Great Egret, Osprey... and maybe we might catch sight of a Road runner just to mention a few of our bird species. Maybe catch sight of a North American River Otter, Coyotes, Rabbits and even skunks.... And just Maybe see the Sacred Cow.. and of course the Wild Horses.
We can even take time as we flow down river to clean and remove remains of the weekend river goers! (David's River Treasure Hunt).
Meet up at7:00 AM at Phone D. Sutton Recreation Area (Ending point) Arrive a little early to Air Up your IFD/SUP (If you have a hard shell or Inflatable Kayak and can't transport anything else it might be best to meet us up at starting location) Then will see what vehicles we can leave and condense down and load up to drive up to Water Users Recreation Site (Starting point) unload kayaks and Paddle boards, and bring down to launch area (East end of main parking lot, (pathway behind restrooms), Would like to be on the river by 7:45AM to enjoy the Amazing Arizona Morning....
Things you may need... PFD / Drinking Water, Life Jacket (your choice to wear one while on the water), Sunblock, Hat, Snacks, and any other items that you as an experienced kayaker likes to bring kayaking... And very important your sense for an Amazing Arizona Adventure
*For parking you will need a Tonto Pass (pay stations available) If purchased in advance only $8, at pay station $12. If you have your ATB card (America The Beautiful) card that will work. I recommend that you get a pass in advance as sometimes the vending machines on do not work.

******WEDNESDAY MORNING PADDLE DOWN THE SALT RIVER*****
Lets do the whole river top to bottom... WATER USERS to GRANITE REEF. If you have not got the chance to complete the last part of the Salt River (Phon D. Sutton to Granite Reef) you don't know what you are missing (SO AMAZING). Come check it out and enjoy this last calm and beautiful part of this Amazing River!
Come do the whole river (all the way down to Granite Reef from Water Users). If you don't have the extra hour you can exit out at Phon D. Sutton.
We will all start at Water Users with Option 1). get out (Finish) at Phon D. Sutton... OR do the whole river and go to the last Stop) Option 2). Granite Reef Recreation Area. The complete river.
Those that want to do the whole river let's meet at Granite Reef at 6;30 then drive over to Phon D. Sutton meet up at 7;00 to pick everyone else, head up to the start... (Water Users)
The river is flowing at a great levels, and forecasted for a nice and cool 96F (UNDER 100) for the high and 80F for the low.

We will meet at 6;30AM at Granite Reef those that will be doing the complete river, and 7:00AM at Phone D. Sutton those want to finish there. Will see what vehicles we can leave and condense down one to drive up to Water Users Recreation Site (Starting point). Try to arrive a little earlier to Air up our IFD/SUP, Then drive up to Water Users Recreation Aria, unload kayaks and boards, bring our PFD down by water, (East end of main parking lot by restrooms), Would like to be on the river by 7:30AM to enjoy the Amazing Arizona Morning....
