AWS Sydney North User Group - Special North Sydney Location

Please join us for drinks and nibbles at the Amazon Web Services Sydney North User Group, hosted at Sophos HQ in North Sydney.

We're looking forward to Julian Hickie from Cloudten presenting the cutting-edge "Highly Available Voice and Video Conferencing in AWS." Julian will demonstrate how Cloudten designed and delivered an active Skype for Business solution fronted by Sophos UTMs inside AWS for one of Australia's largest insurance companies.

We're also thrilled to have Chef Software's Matt Ray present an overview of the open source InSpec project and how you can integrate it into your infrastructure and applications running on top of AWS. InSpec ( https://inspec.io ) provides the ability to automate security and audits as "Compliance as Code," turning compliance requirements into code that expresses policies while validating your infrastructure and applications. InSpec works remotely and works with Linux, Unix, Windows and can talk directly with APIs, databases, and cloud platforms, allowing you to test an AWS configuration directly based on the policies you define.
