Sweet Run Virginia State Park 4-mile hike & Learn about the AMC

In September we're hosting a series of activities allowing you to learn more about the outdoor and conservation work of the Appalachian Mountain Club.

Sept. 7 we will meet at Virginia’s newest state park in the morning. After a short introduction to AMC, we will take an easy round trip hike for about 4 miles on forested trails and roads to the pond (for a snack) and the picnic shelter (for lunch).

The 20’s and 30’s group will adjourn to a nearby brewery/winery after the hiking and lunch.

Please leave a comment if you need a ride or can drive others. You will do a favor to the environment and make new friends with ride sharing.
