The final full moon of summer has arrived and to observe the shift in seasons the Appalachian Mountain Club invites you to join us to end the weekend with an urban walk. We are going to meet in the Battery, NYC at the Coast Guard Memorial at 7 PM to see the sunset with the view over the water before beginning our excursions elsewhere. With the light of the full moon (and the option to use the lights we bring) (and the light of New York City) we will walk & talk for 3 hours & 3 miles (or 3 miles in how much time it takes us.) We will finish our time together at the Coast Guard Memorial at 10 PM.

BRING A LIGHT (headlamp, flashlight, etc.) Please wear what you prefer to be outside for three hours and walk three miles in. There will be access to a bathroom at the beginning and ending of the walk. It is recommended to bring water, snack(s), and an additional layer of clothing (such as a fleece, wind shirt or rain shell.)
