Bouldering in Central Park at Rat Rock

The fall has arrived and so we welcome the season of sending with a special Sunday offering: bouldering in Central Park, NYC at Rat Rock! I am bringing my crash pads, guidebook, and chalk bucket to host 3 two-hour sessions of bouldering. Register online and then bring your own rock climbing shoes.

On rock? Rock on!

You do not need climbing experience (indoor and/or outdoor) to join us. We will be climbing low to the ground (less than 10 feet) with ample protection (crash pads) and there are many ‘problems’ to try regardless of previous experience climbing. Please bring what you will need!! (Water, snack, rock climbing shoes. Climbing shoes can be purchased at your local outdoor retailers or climbing gyms, both of which often carry reasonably-priced used gear in good condition.)
