Cochran Wildlife Sanctuary

By mid-May, the weather should be reliably warm enough for us to resume outdoor activities. So, this month, we will visit the Cochran Wildlife Sanctuary on the Phillips Academy campus in Andover.

Note that this is a stroll, not a hike. This means you power walkers.
If you are a birder, you can bring your binoculars and log book.

If we are not tired of each other by the end, we can go to a nearby restaurant for a bite to eat.

GPS Address: 66-88 Chapel Ave · Andover, MA

1. From Rt. 495, take exit 41 (= Rt. 28 S.) in Andover.
2. Proceed south on Rt. 28 through downtown Andover.
3. Phillips Academy is approximately one mile south of the center of town.
4. Turn left onto Chapel Avenue.
5. Continue to the very end of the road.
