Nov 16 MEGALONG VALLEY – DEVILS HOLE The beautiful Megalong valley in the Blue Mts, combined with high forested cliffs and an intriguing climb through Devils Hole make this a very memorable walk. We do a circuit starting from Cliff Drive, Katoomba, walking along roads to the Explorers Tree and then descend via the six foot track and Nellies Glen to the Megalong Valley. The return is via the dramatic steep and rough cleft called the Devils Hole (some minor rock scrambling is involved). Meet at the Devils Hole “car park”, Katoomba (sign on left, opposite 239 Cliff Drive on right). (10 km, high)
