Thanks for checking out the page and all are encouraged to join. Trying to start a Board gaming group in the Antelope valley for all ranges from Light casual/party games, card games, to Heavy thinky Euro board games.

The gathering starts at 7:00 pm and runs until roughly 11:45 pm. There is no cost for the event. There are occasional food trucks to buy grub and snacks from and Transplants has a variety of spirits, along with drinks for those into non-alcoholic beverages, if you would care to support a local brewery. They have been nice enough to provide the space for us to use.

Blood on the Clocktower is a bluffing game enjoyed by 5 to 20 players on opposing teams of Good and Evil, overseen by a Storyteller player who conducts the action and makes crucial decisions. The goal of the game is to successfully deduce and execute the demons before they outnumber the townfolk.
During a 'day' phase players socialize openly and whisper privately to trade knowledge or spread lies, culminating in a player's execution if a majority suspects them of being Evil. Of a 'night' time, players close their eyes and are woken one at a time by the Storyteller to gather information, spread mischief, or kill.
The Storyteller uses the game's intricate playing pieces to guide each game, leaving others free to play without a table or board. Players stay in the thick of the action to the very end even if their characters are killed, haunting Ravenswood Bluff as ghosts trying to win from beyond the grave.
If you arrive late to a game, you can enter after it's started as a powerful Traveller character with unusual talents and questionable allegiances. Each character comes with their own special ability and no two players in a game are ever the same character.

First Tuesday of the month is still Blood on the Clocktower, but every Tuesday is for any game. I run tabletop games in one room, my brother does video games in another.
As with all of our programs, individuals under 18 must be accompanied by someone 18+ who will be responsible for them (does not have to be a parent).

"The "shufflebuilding" game Smash Up begins with a simple premise: take the 20-card decks of two factions, shuffle them into a deck of forty cards, then compete to crush more Bases than your opponents! Each faction involves a different gaming mechanism - Pirates move their minions around, Zombies bring back their cards from the discard pile, Dinosaurs have enormous power - and each combination of factions brings a different gaming experience.
During the game, players compete to score points from Base cards. Players play minions to the bases, and you want to have the highest total power of minions at the base when it breaks. Sounds easy? Is it easy when an opponent's Alien-Ninja plays minions to your bases that destroy your minions? What happens when the Pirate-Dinosaur player plays Full Sail and frees King Rex to trample your minions into the ground, or when the Wizard-Zombies player uses their mystic power to create an outbreak, suddenly flooding minions to the base from their discard pile? Or if you were facing a Zombie-Dinosaur player instead who created an epidemic of massive beasts?!?" ~ BGGWe will have access to my (currently) COMPLETE Smash Up Collection!!, which makes for 82 factions and 166 bases. That is 3321 possible pairs of factions! Munchkin, Disney, Marvel, Ghosts, Goblins, Knights (who may or may not say Ni!), Grandmas, Sharks, and soo soo many more.
If you have ever heard of Smash Up, played it before, want to check out specific factions, or are just curious about it, this is your chance to find out what it's all about.
This is a mini-event where we showcase and play one game. Mini-events will range in size depending on the player count of the game. Because of this, we will only take those that RSVP, but you are free to come watch. Please only RSVP if you know you WILL attend. Space is limited.
