2017’s Theme: Virtual Reality in Education
UNIVRHACK is the first ever university virtual reality hackathon in Australia. Over the course of three days, students will form groups, learn and create a virtual experience alongside a mentor experienced in the field.

Sunday is pitch day and sounds like it will be a fun event to drop in on!

Team Size
4 to 5 participants per team. Those who enter alone can look for a team on Friday
Virtual Reality Equipment VR sets and computers will be available during the hackathon
Who can compete at UNIVRHACK All open to university students in ANZ.
What should I bring? Bring your laptop, notebooks and pens.
Can I bring alcohol or smoke? No. The event is strictly non-alcoholic and non-smoking event.
Do I have to stay overnight? You are not required to stay overnight.
Can we work on our idea beforehand? No. You can research any ideas and concepts before the competition begins
I don’t know how to build VR? Your teammates and mentors are there with you to build Virtual Reality application
Is there a Code of Conduct? Yes, there is a code of conduct. UNIVRHACK follows “The Hack Code of Conduct”. This applies to all attendees, sponsors, partners, volunteers and staff. You can view the code of conduct here (https://hackcodeofconduct.org/497-univrhack).
