Arty Day Out – Brisbane Portrait Prize & GOMA
Details
Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to enjoy a day of art, conversation, and connection when we visit the Brisbane Portrait Prize exhibition at the State Library, and GOMA (if you have the energy).
We’ll gather at the entrance to the Library to see the Brisbane Portrait Prize exhibition at approx. 10:20 am so we can take advantage of the free guided tour of the exhibition, led by one of their knowledgeable volunteers, at 10:30 am.
After viewing the exhibition, if you’d like to hang around, we’ll find somewhere to have lunch together.
Next, if you want to make a full day of it, we can then see ‘Make, Believe, Magic: The Worlds of The Jim Henson Company’ exhibition at GOMA.
Entry to the Brisbane Portrait Prize Finalists Exhibition is completely free. Food and drinks are at your own expense, AND if you’d like to join us for the Make, Believe, Magic exhibition, you will need to purchase your own ticket, either online or at the door. Adult tickets range from $32–$38.
This Club Yellow art networking event is open to everyone, so you’re welcome to invite your friends. Join us for as much of the day as you’d like, but please RSVP so I know to look out for you!
