This is for those wanting to know what happens between typing a prompt to getting an answer from the LLM. It goes into a deeper level than just using a LLM. It is product agnostic, so chatGPT, claude, or any other LLM applies.

How we understood language to the extent that we can make computers learn it and use it. We will explore from scratch how large language models achieve what they achieve.

This is slow and steady process and will be five interactive sessions, skills needed: High School maths, Interest in language, Curiosity

First workshop: In the Deep End

  1. Intro - the universe of meaning
  2. What is our understanding of meaning and How meaning is captured using numbers (How LLMs infer meaning)
  3. How LLMs understand sentences

Other workshops will be: Stories and Maths; Building blocks of LLM Architecture. (Computational Model of neuron, Architecture), How LLMs are Trained, Bringing it all together
