Masters Park Haw Creek to Craven Gap Crest (via Lunch Rock)

This hike will be about 4 to 4.5 miles, starting at Masters Park, parking lot in Haw Creek. We'll hike a serpentine trail up to the parkway, cross the parkway, then hike to the crest of the Mountain where we usually turn around at the Craven Gap hike. Then, we'll go back down the mountain and take a rest at the Haw Creek Overlook (Lunch Rock), then head back down to parking.

Poles are suggested because this is an uphill then downhill hike, with lots of leaves on the ground.

To reach Masters Park, turn onto Maple Drive off of New Haw Creek Road and look for parking slightly uphill on your right.

The pace for this hike is about 3 mph. with the one break.
