Moderate hike to Raven Cliffs waterfall in SC. Approximately 8.5 miles, with an option to do only 5 for those that want something shorter.

The hike will start at the Raven Cliffs parking lot on RT 276 in SC at 9:30. 35.11680, -82.63844.

There is a $3.00 person parking fee). We’ll hike on the Raven Cliffs Falls trail about 2.5 miles to the Raven Cliffs Falls overlook. From there we’ll take the Gum Gap and Naturaland Trust trails down to a suspension bridge over the falls, then return to the parking lot. Those wanting a shorter hike can head back to the parking lot after the overlook.

Overall a moderate hike, the elevation gain is pretty spread out in the hike, no really hard up or down. I scouted the hike on 2/13. The trails are in good shape other than some minor blowdowns on the Naturaland Trust trail.

Dogs are welcome. I’ll have mine with me.

Anyone wanting to carpool can meet at the Ingles in Brevard around 8:45 with a 9:00 sharp departure to the trailhead. Meet at the lot across from the gas pumps.
