Right now there are a lot of wild flowers blooming in the forest. I did this hike a couple of weeks ago and ran into violets, foamflowers, geraniums, dwarf iris, trillium and a few others. Don't know if everything is still in bloom but only one way to find out.
We'll meet at the middle parking lot at the Pisgah Ranger station at 8:45AM for a 9:00 sharp departure.
Dogs are welcome. I will have my dog with me.
