Ready to make friends, move your body, and spread joy around Asheville?
We’re The Joy Parade—a weekly movement party bringing people together to dance, connect, and create ripple effects of love and fun through our community.

We’re taking our dancin’ through the sidewalks of downtown,
Spreadin’ merriment and smiles and wholesome groovin' vibes galore.

Think:
Flash mob vibes. Feel-good music. Strangers becoming friends. Joy gone viral.
Whether you're a born dancer or just love the idea of play, you're welcome here.

This is about expression, not perfection.
We believe joy is medicine—and when we share it, it multiplies.
That’s the magic.

**note get there no later than 1:10 as we'll be movin' this parade around downtown!**

Fun, playful, joyful costumes not necessary, but highly encouraged! :)

What to expect:

• Guided dance walk through town
• Easy-to-follow moves & joyful beats (beginner friendly!)
• Smiles from strangers
• A whole lotta fun

No experience needed. Just show up, be yourself, and dance it out.

• Wear danceable shoes
• Bring water you can carry hands free
• Donation based
• Bring a friend! (or 10)
