This afternoon session begins with a short talk and guided meditation on the topic “Living with Joy”, where we can listen to Buddhist wisdom on living life with a positive outlook and peace of mind. The evening ends with 30 minutes of chanted prayers and song where we request Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion, to help us create peace in our hearts and in the world.

Following the afternoon session join us for an optional outing to Water Fire which starts at 4:30pm. It is close enough to walk or you can meet us at a meeting point if you prefer to drive.

Join us in ending one year and starting a new one with joy and meaning.
