The Atlanta Opera presents:
Water Memory (Jala Smriti) Awarded the Antinori Foundation Grand Prize in the 96-Hour Opera Project in June 2024.
Both composer Kitty Brazelton and librettist Vaibu Mohan shared the experience of witnessing the decline of a beloved older woman in their family due to dementia. For this creative team, has become a deeply personal story about the power of memory, family, and connection.

Tix $35 at AtlantaOpera In addition to June 14th it is also showing June 12th at Ferst Center and June 13th at Morehouse Ray Charles Performing Arts Center.

Immediately following the performance, audience members are invited to stay as a panel discusses aspects of the evolving intersection of technology and human experience through the lens of dementia and caregiving.
