Raglan Ramble
Details
Greetings Everyone - Join us on Sunday as we walk through the parks of Raglan and back along the beach.
🟡 Some words to Inspire you:
This coastal loop through Raglan’s lush reserves offers a rich blend of forest, history, and ocean views. Begin in Wainui Bush Reserve, where native trees and birdsong set a tranquil tone.
Continue into Bryant Memorial Reserve, a peaceful pocket of regenerating bush with glimpses of the coast. The Water Race Track follows an old channel once used for flax milling, now a shaded trail lined with ferns and nikau palms.
From there, the Ngarunui Track climbs gently, offering sweeping views over the Tasman Sea before descending toward the surf. Finish with a relaxed stroll along Ngarunui Beach, Raglan’s iconic stretch of black sand, where waves roll in and surfers dot the horizon.
It’s a walk that blends nature, heritage, and the laid-back charm of Raglan.
