If Middle Harbour were anywhere else, it would be lauded as one of the world's most scenic urban waterfronts. The Round Willoughby Walk incorporates many of Willoughby's beautiful walking tracks along Middle Harbour. Starting from Artarmon, we walk through a patch of the rainforest before heading towards glimpses of the harbour through the Northbridge Oval. Follow the tracks that skirt between the waterfront residential areas and the harbour. Enjoy some great views of the water- Pearl Bay, Long Bay, Sugarloaf Bay, Bantry Bay, Fisher Bay, Sandy Bay, Sailors Bay, Powder Hulk Bay, Willoughby Bay and Quakers Hat Bay all the way (through the North Arm Walking track) to Roseville Bridge, where we will take buses back to Chatswood or City.
TRANSPORT: T1 , meet at Artarmon Train station (Check Opal Trip Planner for updates).
BRING 2~3 litres of water, hydrate tablets, snacks & lunch, sun protection, first aid kit, rain gear, hiking shoes.
GRATUITY: There will be a $10 gratuity for this walk in cash. All proceedings go to Charity.
Fast Pace: 4.5km/hr on average
SAFETY WARNING: Please stay away from cliff edges and be very careful when walking on wet and slippery rocks and surfaces. Please stay within sight of the group at all times.
